I enrolled in Boston University with an eye to preparing myself for law school. I completed my undergraduate degree in the Honors Program in just three years and also studied at night for my paralegal certificate, which I received prior to graduation. I graduated summa cum laude, having completed an Honors Thesis and I also earned membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society.

When initially applying to law school programs, I wanted something more than a traditional law school education. I applied and was accepted to the joint J.D./Ph.D. program at Villanova University, one of only a handful in the country. I attended this program and completed my first year of studies in both law and psychology. Unfortunately, the program lost funding shortly thereafter and it was not clear whether it would continue for the entire 7 year term of my enrollment. As a result, I decided it was best for me to return to Boston to complete my law degree and I transferred to Northeastern University School of Law where I later received my Juris Doctorate.

I have also obtained my Certificate in Fiduciary Management for Trustees and Certificate in Fiduciary Management for Guardians from California State University in Fullerton.
